I liked the up-to-date look of the Holdrege Public Library page. I have seen many tags and so forth on web pages; but did not know what they were. I never clicked on them just thought they were decorations or something. (How embarrassing). I noticed a post on Learning2.0, which added tags to it. Tags not only dress up and modernize a page but they can organize and simplify the page.
I will use delicious on my school library page if I can get principal, board, and tech support to approve. Yes so many hoops to jump through for something so simple. At any rate I plan on using tags on my own personal site.
The NebraskAccess site could be assign these tags: databases, sports, nebraskaccess, resources, and articles, reference, Huskers. I would like to set up tags to direct the classes doing research. Sometimes there is just too much on Nebraska Access for my beginning reference searchers. (Long story short they get lost or play around in places and get lost.) The tag possibilities are limitless for NebraskAccess. People would individualize according to their needs.
Thank you for a useful assignment! Oh not that they all have not been. ☺
